I have always been a big believer in families and making sure that every household has emotional, spiritual and material needs met in abusive, needy or transitional situations.

ABOUT HOUSE OF REFUGE:
House of Refuge is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides transitional housing and supportive services to homeless families in Arizona. House of Refuge is not only a transitional program, but also a social services and work program. Experienced staff are here to assist every participant in the successful transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
Situated on nearly 20 acres in Southeast Mesa, the program offers 82 two-bedroom single family homes and a chapel/support center which allows them to provide a stable, family-friendly environment to program participants. On any given day approximately 100 adults and 150 children call House of Refuge “home.” Many come from a history of domestic violence and children often are the innocent victims. To House Of Refuge, a safe home and community is vital.
Since 1996, House of Refuge has served over 7,000 people, or roughly 2,500 families, and is one of the largest transitional housing facilities in Arizona.
